What I suggest is
- On your Course Menu under Control Panel click Files.
- Next, click the not-so-obvious link (the name of your course) directly below the word Files. This extra click will open up the area where your files are stored.
- Next, click the Upload button (top far left).
- Click Upload Files.
- Click Browse and from your computer select the file you want to upload.
- Click Submit.
After you have uploaded your file you are now ready to "link” the file somewhere in your course. For example, pretend you have a course that is structured by weeks and each week has a link that is available on the course menu.
- Click the Week 2 link on your course menu.
- Next click and open the Reading Assignments folder.
- Next click the Build Content button (top far left).
- Select File.
- Click Browse Course.
- Select the file you want.
- Click Submit.
- Give the link (student's will see this) a name.
- Click Submit one last time.
Notes:
- Course Files provides file storage on the Blackboard server for a single
course. Unlike Desire2Learn, course Files within each course only displays content for that
specific course, not for other courses taught by an instructor.
