Create a Module
Modules are the main organizational piece in D2L Content, they serve as a heading for topics and help students navigate within the course.
If you do not yet have an object created but know you would like to incorporate it into the module, you can add a placeholder for the object. For example, you want to have a discussion, but have not developed the exact wording for the discussion prompt. A place holder can be added to help you visualize your course and the exact wording can be added later.
- Click the Create a Module button under the panel on the left labeled Build Structure, drag it onto the canvas and drop it onto the Course Title box.
- The Create Module form will be displayed. Give the Module a name and if desired modify restriction dates.
- Click Create.
